DIRECT VOTING

Simply put, you tell me how you’d like me to vote and I will, FOR EVERY VOTE!

When a House vote approaches there will be notifications (by your preferred method) to every voter in the district, with a description of the issue. You make a selection and the choice is marked down, then I vote in the manner chosen by the majority. Regardless of personal preference. I will always uphold this system, and should I vote against the majority choice I will tender my resignation and vacate the office immediately.

Using combinations of phone, email, text messages, apps, and in-person contact points, there will be access to daily updates of what motions are on the US House of Representatives docket. Each will have a brief summary of my team’s understanding and interpretation of it, with links to relevant information if applicable. A live counter will track the tally of total choices, and then I will cast the vote for what the majority wants. 

There will be no charges or fees to use this. There will be no public record kept of an individual’s vote, but private records will be kept to prove voting integrity. Multiple organizations, both public and private, will regularly test and monitor this system. Voters will use their verified voter information, ensuring that only registered voters are counted.

This system will take time and resources to develop and maintain, but this can be the beating heart of American democracy, brought to life by the people of the heartland.
